The 2025 Allingham Poetry and Flash Fiction Competitions are open for entries until 28th Sep and I’m the flash judge. Winning entries will be announced and read at the Literary Lunch on Saturday 8th Nov. Entry forms and competition rules are posted HERE.
First Prize in both Flash Fiction and Poetry is €300. Winners will be invited to read their winning entries at the Literary Lunch on 8th Nov.
The 2025 Allingham Festival will take place in Ballyshannon, Co Donegal from 5th-9th November. I will also interview Donal Ryan, winner of the 2025 Orwell Prize for his novel Heart, Be at Peace at the festival on Saturday afternoon 8th Nov in the Abbey Centre.
